CA getting fed loan to pay jobless claims

The Golden State doesn’t have enough money in its coffers to pay the folks who have applied for unemploycalifornia_state_flagment benefits. The state needs $2.4 billion to keep its program going through the end of the year. All of this comes at a time when California’s jobless rate hit 9.3% in December.
